I am loving summer so much! I'm on call for my job everyday for the whole summer and since they've only called me in for 4 shifts so far..I've really been able to enjoy every ray of sunlight. Aside from going camping and having farewell parties these 2 weeks, I've been thinking a lot about school and what this means. I am so ready to grow up and experience every thing that life has to offer. No more of  high school puppy love and the drama(mine or others). University makes me curious and makes me excited. I can't wait to go out there and open up my eyes to the impossible. Let me say this with open arms and an open heart, "HELLO WORLD!"

P.S. Found this cute consignment store called "Couture" at Steveston Village, can't wait to go back for some shopping and..mmm, pajos:)

  Hello world!

My debit card's been crying..so has my mom:( Apparently I've spent too much lately but I just can't help it when I see those to-die-for items..Nonetheless, i managed to ignore them both and bought quite a few things this week! ( Which i will post about later:) Anyhow, summer's been great but i wish to work a little more so i would have the money to splurge on some brown leather boots..or oxfords.., a new pair of skinnies, a haircut, a nice bright cardigan, a nice white top and head accessories that won't make me look too.."hk/japanese influenced." If you know what i mean..? haha

"What's New?"

(pictures were taken at different locations & time and under different lighting. )

((I wanted to create that effect like an illustration book where the book's divided into 3 sections and you flip a section to change the bottom half of an animal's body..or you could flip the top section to change the head of the animal. Haha, didn't rly work out the way i wanted it too..but i did put a lot more time in taking the photos. So, enjoy them as much as i enjoyed those books!)

Cropped Floral Top - $17 (States..a lil more than what i would usually pay..but i thought it was adorable..
High waisted Bongo Denim Shorts - $6 Value Village:)
Canvas Shoes - $0 - Took them from the Drama room back at school!
Venezia Italian Bag - $0 - Hand me down from my mom once again!

Away at camp for the week. Until next time!

 Hello world!
I have been wanting to do this blog for many months now with my friend Jackie but we've decided to each do a blog just to make things easier! (Now, we take each other's pics)
Welcome to My Closet Revolution. I want to go from random cute graphic tee's, jeans and hoodies to vintage, floral, patterns and everything..old. I love the look and I love the process of getting that "look." Rummaging through Value Village, Urban Outfitters, H&M and whatever i run into is always a new adventure on its own!

Now a little about my Shopping Ethics.
I'm not into brand names and the reason would most probably be that i don't have the moola for it.
Thus, you won't see any designer items in this blog (sorry) except for the coach bag my mom gave me because she didn't want it anymore. ..Otherwise, i shop on deals! Sale section is where i go and everything regular priced is a no, no, NO! (unless it was a good deal already!)

How Much is Natalie Willing to Pay for ...:
Jeans - $25 or 2 for $30 ($10 Jeans, even better!)
Tee - $7
Cardigan, Dress, skirt - $15 &under
Flats - $15 &under
Boots, heels - $40 &under
Jewellery - $10
Basically, I try and stay under 20 with everything which..i usually do:)
Exceptions: Special Occasions.

Well, here's my first Outfit!

I am not the most photogenic girl out there but I love what I'm wearing. I call this outfit the
 "VALUE DEAL"
Everything excluding the bag and bracelets are from our local Value Village Store on Granville.
XL Floral Top fits me like a dress - $6
Peach Silk Blouse - $6
Belt - $4
Nude heels with bows - $10

Aldo assorted bracelets (4/8) - $18

I love my bag. It's "Jean Gerard" and a hand me down from my mom who bought it in Italy many years back.
Simply priceless:)

DIY PROJECT

Step 1: Bought this at Value Village. The colours a bit off due to the
camera...
Step 2: Found these beautiful gold buttons in my mom's room...
Step 3: flipped the..collar area and downwards. Sewed the buttons
down and folded the sleeves up.
It's not the best thing you'll see..but it was worth a try!
(Inspired by that blazer at Costa Blanca which was on sale for $10 but out of my size=/
that's the downfall for buying sale items=/)

Thanks for reading! I never knew blogging was this scary...haha.
